The XC90 provides a substantial amount of cargo space to accommodate various hauling needs. With the rear seats up, you can expect 453 litres of space in the boot, which would allow you to fit 6 medium sized suitcases (69x50cm) in. However when folding the seats down this capacity can be significantly expanded, creating a flat load floor and offering up to 1,800 litres of cargo space, which is ample for transporting larger items.
The Volvo XC90 offers a more expansive seating configuration compared to it’s smaller sibling, the XC60. Typically it comes with seating for up to seven passengers, in a three row configuration. The interior is designed with comfort and luxury in mind, ensuring a first-class experience for all occupants.
The XC90 is a capable towing vehicle for those who need to tow trailers, boats or other recreational equipment. Both the B5 diesel and B6 petrol versions of the XC90 can tow a hefty 2,700kg, making them ideal for pulling a large caravan. The B5 (P) petrol and T8 Recharge hybrid XC90 reduces the limit a bit to 2,400kg and 2,350kg respectively.
