Waylands launches battery vehicle healthcheck across used electric vehicles

Waylands has announced a new partnership with MOBA, to offer battery healthcheck assessments across its used vehicle retail stock.

The Group, which represents Volvo, Polestar, Kia and MG across the Thames Valley, said that the move is part of their ongoing focus on building confidence around EV, and in turn, the manufacturer partners that they represent.

Jon Head, Integrations Director at Waylands, said: “We recognise the increasing consumer demand for transparency around battery health as the transition to EV gathers pace. After a robust review of the battery healthcheck platforms in the market, we were pleased to partner with MOBA to provide our sales team with this invaluable tool.”

He added, “The speed at which we can now produce individual battery health assessments will not only build trust with our customers but also give our sales teams absolute confidence in the products that we retail.”

The MOBA platform will be used not only to support marketing of the Group’s used stock but will also form part of their part exchange appraisal process moving forward.
