JAECOO Named Carwow Brand of the Year 2026

JAECOO has been named Brand of the Year in the Carwow Car of the Year Awards 2026, providing further recognition for one of the newest additions to the Waylands brand portfolio.

For Waylands, the award comes as the Group continues to develop its JAECOO franchise and build the brand’s presence locally.

JAECOO entered the UK market in January 2025 and has grown rapidly since its introduction. That progress, together with the development of its model range, was recognised by Carwow’s expert judging team, which highlighted the brand’s design, equipment levels and value proposition. The pace of development has made JAECOO an important addition to Waylands.

The automotive market is changing quickly, with new manufacturers bringing greater choice, different technologies and new propositions to UK customers. For Waylands, maintaining a relevant brand portfolio means responding to those changes while remaining focused on the quality of the customer experience.

Adding JAECOO has enabled the Group to broaden that portfolio and introduce customers to a new generation of vehicles, supported by the established sales and aftersales infrastructure of Waylands. The franchise has also continued to develop beyond its original model offering. The expansion of the JAECOO range provides Waylands with the opportunity to reach a broader customer base while strengthening the long-term potential of the brand within the Group.
