The Motability Scheme
Since it was established in 1978, the Motability Scheme has been helping over 600,000 people claim back their independence by making brand new cars more accessible for those with disabilities.
if either you or a family member are disabled and receive the allowances to qualify for the Motability Scheme, you could take advantage of accessing a brand-new car every 3 years, removing most of the stress that comes with owning and running a vehicle for a longer period of time.

What is the Motability Scheme?
The Motability Scheme provides an affordable, worry-free way for people with disabilities to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair in exchange for their mobility allowance. The Motability Scheme is operated by Motability Operations Ltd, under contract to the Motability Scheme, a registered Charity.

Am I Eligible?
To be eligible to join the Scheme, you need to receive one of the following mobility allowances stated on the motability site and must have at least 12 months' award length of your allowance remaining.
The Higher Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
The Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
The Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Adult Disability Payment
The Higher Rate Mobility Component of Child Disability Payment
The War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
The Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
Even if you can't drive yourself, you can still lease a brand-new MG through the Motability Scheme and have a nominated driver. The scheme allows you to nominate up to two named drivers as part of your lease.

How does the Motability Scheme work?
If you receive a qualifying mobility allowance, you could exchange all or part of it for a brand-new MG through the Motability Scheme. The process is simple, and a wide range of adaptations are available to make driving or traveling easier and more comfortable.
Each month, your Motability Scheme allowance is paid directly to Motability Operations Ltd for the duration of your lease—making the experience hassle-free and straightforward.
