Waylands Volvo Reading Sponsors the 2025 Binfield 10K

Waylands Volvo Reading is proud to announce its role as the main sponsor of the Binfield 10K 2025, a much-loved community road race taking place on Sunday 18 May. This family-friendly, not-for-profit event will see 1,000 runners take on a scenic 10K route starting and finishing at Foxley Fields in Binfield, Berkshire.

Now in its 8th year, the Binfield 10K has become one of the most popular running events in Berkshire, raising over £70,000 for local charities. Organised entirely by volunteers, this year’s race will support First Days Children’s Charity, alongside other local organisations that help make the event possible.

As a proud local business committed to sustainability, community engagement and innovation in electric mobility, Waylands Volvo Reading is thrilled to contribute more than just sponsorship. On race day, our award-winning Volvo EX90 will lead the runners as the official lead car, while our fully electric Volvo EX30 will follow as the tail car—showcasing the future of electric driving.

Our support doesn't stop at the start line. Six members of the Waylands Volvo Reading team will also be running the 10K to raise money for Ben, the automotive charity that supports workers in the motor trade with mental and physical wellbeing services.
