Waylands Expands Volvo Representation with Acquisition of Cambridge Garage

Waylands has completed the acquisition of the award-winning Cambridge Garage, located in Havant and Petersfield from the Stringer family.

The strategic acquisition strengthens Waylands’ Volvo presence, taking the Group to seven Volvo retail outlets, and extends their reach further towards the South Coast. The Stringer family’s sister bodyshop business, Cambridge ARC was not part of the transaction with Waylands and will continue to be owned by the Stringer family.

The dealerships will continue to operate under the Cambridge Garage brand, ensuring a smooth transition for both colleagues and customers, with all current colleagues joining the Waylands team.

The group now represents Volvo, Polestar, Kia, Honda, OMODA, JAECOO and MG at seventeen locations across the South.
