We have an exciting new opportunity for a product specialist to join our team based at our Waylands Volvo Dealership to strengthen our customer experience.
As first point of contact for all our customers, you will have a friendly and approachable nature, with a confident outlook on life. A Passion and enthusiasm for technology is a must. With an experienced team and enlightened manufacture behind you, we will teach you all you need to know about our products and brand.
The role is focused on providing the best customer experience, therefore previous involvement within a customer facing role is essential.
As a Specialist you will:
Provide an engaging, warm first point of contact for customers in our new showroom.
Be eager to learn and to share your knowledge with customers, using available resources and your own initiative to grow an understanding of all things Volvo and its competition.
Listen to customers to understand their needs, questions, and aspirations, creating a non-pressurised, non-threatening sales environment.
Promote our Volvo brand, products and technologies, sharing information, features and benefits in a friendly, understandable way; using Social Media, YouTube, brand websites & face to face.
It’s important to understand that the Specialist position is not a ‘sales’ role. Your job is to share your passion for our products in a pressure-free way. In many ways, you will be a ‘brand ambassador.’ The aim is to make customers feel excited about the cars – and impressed that they are getting a personalised service.
Your day-to-day duties will include –
Preparing the showroom/forecourt and cars for the day ahead
Completing product presentations, test-drives and assisting in vehicle handovers
Embracing the latest technology available, including tablets and videos
Sharing your knowledge and expertise within the Dealership
Supporting off-site events, while acting as an ambassador for our Dealership and the Volvo Brand
Working with others within the Dealership Team to build effective relationships, and specifically transferring customers to and from Sales Executives to complete other elements of the buying process (especially negotiation and finance)
Contributing to the Volvo Specialist community through on-line forums and at specific events.
As the role will involve test-driving vehicles, it is a requirement to hold a full clean UK driving license.
We operate a highly successful team and we are about creating loyal, long term future customers which will strive our business forward.
Working am to pm Monday to Saturday, with a day off during the week for working Saturdays. Sunday am to pm on a rota basis.
