Performance and efficiency
Powered by a 2.0-litre direct-injection Atkinson-cycle engine paired with two compact electric motors, the Honda CR-V hybrid produces 184 PS and 335 Nm of torque. The self-charging system intelligently selects from three drive modes:
1. EV Drive: Runs purely on electric power from the lithium-ion battery for quiet, zero emission urban cruising.
2. Hybrid drive: Combines petrol and electric power for responsive acceleration during overtakes or uphill driving.
3. Engine drive: Uses the petrol engine directly at higher cruising speeds on motorway journeys for optimal fuel economy.
This intelligent powertrain delivers dynamic 0–62 mph acceleration in 9.3 seconds while maintaining impressive fuel efficiency and reduced CO₂ emissions. Available in both 2WD and Real Time All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configurations.
