The beginning

Waylands opens its first Volvo retailer in Reading, and the construction of a brand new £6.0m VRE showroom commenced.

2020

Service excellence

Received our first recognition as AM Dealer Group of the Year.

2021

Multi-brand growth

Expanded to represent Kia alongside Volvo, opening new showrooms across Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

2022

MG partnership

Opened our first MG retailers in Oxfordshire, alongside our Volvo business.

Polestar Partnership

Became one of the first UK retailers for Polestar, embracing the electric future.

HSH Acquisition

Welcomed Honda and OMODA JAECOO to Waylands, through acquisition from HSH Motor Group.

From one showroom to the South's most trusted motor group

How it all started

Waylands was founded in 2017 when the group opened their first Volvo showroom in Reading. What started as a single dealership quickly grew as word spread about our straightforward approach to selling and servicing vehicles.

Building partnerships

Over the decades we have expanded across the south of England, adding franchise partnerships with Kia, Polestar, Honda, OMODA JAECOO, MG and AION. Despite our growth, we have never lost the personal, family-run ethos that set us apart from day one.
